Dryer Tumbler Bearing Front Glides and Pads

The Tumbler Bearing Kit is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool washing machines. It includes multiple replacement glides that support the movement of the wash basket or tub. As it rotates during the wash cycle, the tub experiences friction that the bearings help manage.  For rear drum support rollers, order part #12001541. Please note that repair requires two kits.

Symptoms of bad bearings include:

• Excessive noise or vibrations emanating from the tub area
• Difficulty rotating or spinning the tub by hand  
• Visible wear on the bearings
• Premature breakdown of other components due to increased stress

Causes of bearing failure can be normal wear over time from the consistent rotational motion. Using the washer with an unbalanced load can accelerate bearing deterioration.
